Pricing
ExchangeEarth launches early September 2026. The pricing below is our current plan and is not final — registered users get notice of the confirmed figures before launch.
The number that matters first
Per 1,000 tonnes of surplus greenfield soil and stone:
| Moved as waste | Moved as a by-product |
|---|---|
| €10,000 recovery levy | €0 levy |
| Gate fees at the receiving facility | No waste gate fees |
| Waste-permit haulage chain | Platform per-ticket fee |
Launch pricing
Platform subscription: free for a limited period from launch
While the network builds, there is no subscription charge for any organisation — site operators or hauliers.
Per-ticket fee from launch: being finalised
A fee per e-ticketed load, charged to the developer or contractor side of the movement. The figure is being finalised and will be confirmed to registered users before launch.
After the free period: subscriptions, with advance notice
Subscription pricing will be introduced once the network is established — announced well in advance, with a lower rate for hauliers than for site operators.
Always true
- The platform never holds funds — payment terms are agreed between the parties, and money moves directly.
- Registering interest costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
- Early registrants get pricing notice before anyone else.
Straight questions
- Who pays the per-ticket fee?
- The developer or contractor side of the movement — the party saving the levy. Hauliers are not charged per load.
- Will I be locked in?
- No. There are no contracts to sign during the free period, and no charge until pricing is announced and you choose to continue.
- How much notice before subscriptions start?
- The free period will end only with clear advance notice to every organisation on the platform — no surprise invoices.
