What we collect today, and why

This website collects personal data in two places. If you registered interest before account creation opened, we hold what that form collected: your email address, the type of business you selected, and, if you chose to provide them, a company name and county. If you create an account, we hold what the signup asks for: your name, work email and password (stored only as a hash), your organisation’s details, and the addresses of any colleagues you invite, which are used to send them that invitation.

  • Purpose. To email you when ExchangeEarth launches, including launch pricing. Nothing else.
  • Lawful basis. Your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Retention. Until the launch mailing has been sent, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
  • Unsubscribing. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can ask at any time: hello@exchangeearth.com.
  • Cookies and analytics. This website does not set tracking cookies. Page views are measured with a cookieless, anonymous analytics service (Vercel Analytics) that does not identify individual visitors.
  • The sandbox. The demo at /sandbox keeps your run in your own browser’s session storage, so it survives moving between pages. It is cleared when you close the tab, it is never sent to us, and it holds only what you typed into the demo. Nothing in it reaches a server or a cookie.
